Welcome to my world as a volleyball player
A warm hello to all readers of my blog. The season is over and after my retirement from the national team I am now enjoying my first free summer. To keep volleyball in people's minds, I would like to bring you a little closer to my professional world over the next few months. I have used the time without competition to develop this blog.
Every weekend we play in front of several thousand spectators and have to perform to our best. Every action involves decisions. Sometimes they are wise, sometimes not so wise. Nevertheless, we make every decision with courage and determination and that is exactly what I felt when I came up with the concept of the blog. The blog is primarily aimed at young up-and-coming players who still have their careers ahead of them.
Why this blog?
The idea of creating my own blog is buried in my current master's degree. The challenge began with the task of designing something of my own in the practical module. After much thought and brainstorming, I decided to take this step and create something individual and personal. The basis for finding the topic and designing the blog was hours of bus rides and travel. On which many people have probably already come up with "unusual ideas". And yes, so far I'm really enjoying living out my creative abilities, even outside of the field.
